Explore Phoenix

Phoenix hotels spread across the Valley of the Sun. Downtown puts you near the Footprint Center, home of the Suns and Mercury, and Chase Field, home of the Diamondbacks, while Scottsdale and the Camelback Corridor offer resorts and nightlife. Phoenix Sky Harbor International (PHX) is just minutes from downtown.

The Desert Botanical Garden, the Heard Museum, and hikes up Camelback Mountain or Piestewa Peak show off the Sonoran Desert. Old Town Scottsdale adds galleries, restaurants, and bars, and Tempe, home of Arizona State University, has a lively lakeside scene.

Each February and March, fifteen MLB teams hold Cactus League Spring Training across the Valley, and the WM Phoenix Open golf tournament draws huge crowds to Scottsdale. The Cardinals play at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, and the Grand Canyon is about a three-and-a-half-hour drive north.
